Being one of the most widespread religions in the world, Islam has proven itself as a religion of peace and goodness over the centuries due to its tolerant and peaceful approach to various political and social situations. History has not forgotten the tolerance and peaceful policy shown by Muslims towards non-Muslims during the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the conquest of Mecca, and the conquest of Jerusalem by Caliph Umar and Salahuddin Ayyubi. Especially when the city of Jerusalem was first conquered by the Muslims in 638, the promise of peace given by the Caliph Umar regarding non-interference in the lives and religions of the unbelievers is a clear expression of the fact that Islam is a religion of goodness.
