Abstract

The article examines different religious movements in Central Asia in the 16th-17th centuries. Especially, the essence of the Sufism, its position among the rulers and the common people is revealed. The names and religious and scientific works of thinkers of this century who had a huge influence on the formation of social thought are also given.
