ТHE EXISTENCE OF POETONYM IN UZBEK AND FRENCH LANGUAGES

In linguistics, the term poetonym is used to refer to the words used in an artistic text with the aim of providing aesthetic impact and enhancing poetics. A special field that studies Poetonyms is called "Poetonymology". In Uzbek linguistics, terms such as "poetonymology" and "deopoetonym" are almost never used, instead the term "artistic onomastics" is used more often. Because, according to the meaning, these two terms can create mutual meaning. This article analyzes the expression of poetonyms in Uzbek and French in traditional forms and styles. In addition, the names of natural phenomena and their symbolic nature is determined. Based on the linguistic features of the French language, the article reveals the linguistic characteristics of depoetonyms and the symbolic characteristics of natural phenomena using examples.
