Componential analysis gave chance to divide genderly marked phraseological units into 4 groups: 1) anthropometric words, which nominate men or women; 2) masculine and feminine names (anthroponyms); 3) kinship terms which denote family roles of men and women; 4) agentive nouns which denote professions which deal with definite gender. Theoretical content of the article can be proved by numerous examples of English and Uzbek phraseologisms chosen from trustful lexicographic sources.
