ANALYSIS OF MEDICAL (EQUIVALENT) PROVERBS

The given article is devoted to the analysis of such aspects as equivalence or similar semantics, translation and thematic adaptation of medical proverbs in English and Uzbek. Conceptual and linguistic and cultural bases of similarities and differences in the theme, meaning features of alternative or semantically close proverbs related to health are analyzed. In addition, they are given equivalents that can be an alternative option in terms of meaning, or special emphasis is placed on the cases where this proportionality is not observed.
