Abstract

This article is devoted to the issue of khilwat, which is one of the important elements of the teaching and practice of Sufism. It is known that Khilvat is one of the psychological methods of creating mystical states. The article presents the psychological advantages and disadvantages of khilvat. One of the tasks of Khilvat is to induce states that arise as a result of closeness to God - fana and baqa. Every Salik is required to establish a dialectical interaction between the physical and spiritual Khilvat.
