ДЖУРАЕВ, Ҳусен Хайруллоевич
Abstract
This article examines the history of the art of bookmaking and calligraphy in Bukhara during the period of the khanates in Mavarannahr. It provides insights into how the traditions of writing, collecting, and decorating books continued through the 16th–18th centuries, noting that certain khans established special libraries where numerous manuscripts were compiled. Consequently, studying the lives and creative works of the masters of this art remains highly relevant today.
