In the science of hadith, special attention is paid to the isnad, which is an integral part of each hadith. Isnad connects the message with the narrator. The Muhaddiths used sanad and isnad in the same sense. At the beginning of the hadith, the names of all persons are listed one by one, starting from the person who first spoke and heard it, to the collector of the hadith, and this is the basis and proof of the hadith. The scholars checked whether the hadeeth was authentic or fake by comparing names. If the years of life and other positive qualities of the narrators of the hadith meet the prescribed conditions, then the isnad is correct, and therefore the hadeeth is considered authentic.
