ANALYSIS OF ART GENRES (ON POETIC TEXTS OF THE WORK “THE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS”)

One Thousand and One Nights is one of the most beautiful and perfect masterpieces of world literature. This work, reflecting the history, traditions, culture and past of the people developed over time, was originally an oral creation, and although it gradually passed into written literature, it was first written in Arabic. According to scientists, the creation of the work lasted from the 3rd to the 16th centuries. In the work you can read not only prose fairy tales and stories, but also poetic verses. This article analyzes the artistic genres used in the poetic texts of the work “A Thousand Nights” in different ways. The importance of language and the skills of translation and translators are revealed in the beautiful artistic poems created in the genres of art.
