Abstract
This article discusses the classification of words in the emergence of Korean linguistics, the role of hieroglyphic writing in Korean linguistics, considerations about auxiliary words in Korean linguistics, particularly the interpretation and classification of postpositions, Sol Chon and the "idu" writing system he created, the development of the T'ho theory, the influence of the Chinese language and writing system on the Korean language, and the views of several Western European linguists on the Korean national script "Hangul" and auxiliary words in the Korean language.
