Abstract
The Use of Board Games in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language: Experience and Perspectives This article explores the use of board games in teaching Italian as a foreign language. It discusses the psycholinguistic and didactic foundations of introducing game-based activities into the classroom and presents a practical case study involving the games “Chi sono?” and “Timeline” used in a multilingual classroom. The analysis focuses on the games’ impact on student motivation, anxiety reduction, speech production, and the consolidation of grammar structures.
