Рaшидoвa Кaмилa Aхмaджoнoвнa
Annotaciya
The Meiji era (1868–1912) marks a period of profound changes in Japan. Under the influence of modernization, which encompassed all spheres of life, including education, culture, and literature, children's literature began to take shape as an independent genre. This article demonstrates that the genre of children's literature emerged at the intersection of the formation of the modern Japanese nation-state, the conceptualization of "child" (jidō), state education, literature, and language development.
