STABLE COMPOUNDS WITH COLOR COMPONENTS

Аннотация
Color-compotent stable compounds represent the language's validity and its value as a cultural asset. After all, if we talk about the semantics of colors in expressions, one color name can serve to express both a positive and a negative meaning. Generally, white color is a positive concept in human psychology. This article analyzes the semantic characteristics of stable associations related to the concept of color, that is, proverbs, sayings, and expressions, and highlights the fact that their positive/negative/neutral connotation depends on the national-cultural context, can be interpreted differently, and can change under the influence of the social environment and time.
