SOCIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF COLOR SEMANTICS

Аннотация
This article reveals the social concepts associated with colors and the socio-cultural factors of their semantic characteristics. It is discussed that colors are actively used not only as visual signs, but also as symbols that express the essence of certain political, economic and cultural realities, and that artists use color semantics as a powerful symbolic “weapon” in expressing their poetic ideas in order to find creative solutions to the problems of a certain era.
