Folklore is an important source that reflects the ancient forms of human thought. It expresses the relationship between nature and humans in a unique artistic and symbolic way. In particular, climatic phenomena in folklore texts appear not only as natural processes but also as symbols embodying deep spiritual, mythological, and aesthetic meanings. In this regard, the present article provides information about climatological units in folklore genres and their symbolic aspects. The analysis highlights how elements related to natural phenomena in English, Russian, and Uzbek poetry manifest themselves and carry metaphorical meanings, serving as key factors in defining the balance between humans and nature. The study also demonstrates that seasonal ritual folklore, which forms part of oral folk creativity, is rich in climatological elements.
