A MOTIVATIONAL APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' BASIC COMPETENCIES IN UZBEK LANGUAGE LESSONS

Abstract
In the modern education system, it is impossible to limit oneself to theformation of students' theoretical knowledge. The development of students' communicative,creative, social, and information-communication skills in the learning process is recognized asone of the main objectives of education. The importance of the motivational approach in theformation of these competencies is invaluable. In Uzbek language lessons, the development ofbasic competencies can be achieved by increasing students' interest, stimulating them to learnindependently, and awakening their inner needs for knowledge. This article will cover in detailthe essence of the motivational approach, its place in Uzbek language lessons, the role andeffective methods in the development of basic competencies.
