The article discusses the problems of digitization of all aspects of our lives, including the role of digital technologies in obtaining and performing independent tasks, digitization. The advantages and disadvantages of implementing independent tasks based on digital technologies, the importance of digital technologies in performing independent tasks, and the requirements for their rational and effective use are presented. The article examines the current problems of the theory and methodology of the application of information and communication technologies and digital technologies as a means of the modern educational process, increasing activity, worldview and motivation to perform independent tasks, which are considered an important need in the current period of globalization, and describes its role and significance.
