ASPECTS OF DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ DIGITAL COMPETENCE IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
In the modern world, digital competence is an important factor for the success of any individual. Uzbekistan, in order not to be left behind in this global trend, is also paying special attention to the development of digital competence in the education system. The development of digital competence of students in the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the important directions today, as the rapid development of the digital economy and technological progress in the country imposes new requirements, especially for the education system.Digital competence plays an important role for students not only in educational institutions, but also in everyday life. Nowadays, these skills are necessary for students to study, get a job, and successfully function in society. Special attention should also be paid to the development of digital competence, because technologies are developing rapidly and new tools and opportunities are emerging, and the student needs to know how to use them effectively
