SCIENTIFIC AND HISTORICAL REFLECTIONS ON THE LOCATION OF WATER SUPPLY SOURCES, PONDS AND GARDENS IN BUKHARA IN O.A.SUKHAREVA'S RESEARCH

Abstract
In this article, O.A. Sukhareva and L.I. Rempel, based on their research, described the irrigation system, water supply, ponds, the history of their construction, as well as gardens built by rulers in the city and environs of Bukhara in the last quarter of the 19th century. The directions of the Shahr Rud canal, which originates from the Zarafshan River, and the directions of the canals calculated from its internal networks were analyzed based on the maps. The history of such famous gardens as Shirbudun, Chorbaghosa, Mokhi-khossa and Kumi Rabot is covered.
