TERMINATION OF THE MOBILIZATION OF THE “LABOR ARMY” SENT FROM UZBEKISTAN

Аннотация
During World War II, the country’s economy and industry were adapted to militaryproduction. As a result, problems of labor shortages for industrial and construction work arose. In thissituation, based on the Supreme Command of Defense Resolution No. 2414 of October 14, 1942, about 155thousand workers from Uzbekistan were mobilized to construction and industrial enterprises in variousregions of Russia. Including in the factories and enterprises of the Urals and the Southern Urals, thousandsof Uzbeks worked and made a worthy contribution to the victory over fascism. The article, based on archivalsources, analyzes the living conditions of the Uzbek “labor soldiers”, their life support, health and workingconditions, as well as the completion of labor mobilization
