Analysis of the characteristics of the 25th cycle of solar activity is currently underwayin 2024-2025 of development. It turned out that compared to the previous 24th year, the current cycleexceeded it in terms of the number of spots (1.5 times), the number of flares (1.8 times), the total outbreakindex (1.5 times). The area of the spots to exceed the most noticeable level in Cycle 25 is 30 m.d.p.anincrease in the number of groups of spots up to.(1 m.d.p.=3.04·106 km2), as well as 570 to 1000 m.d.in therange up to P. Unlike cycle 24, the north-south level asymmetry drops significantly in Cycle 25. This makesit possible to increase the height of Cycle 25 (by 20-50%) in accordance with the Gnevyshev-Olya rule, aswell as estimate the possible single peak of the cycle.
