This article is devoted to the study of the issues of ensuring the optimality of quantitative and qualitative indicatorsin the effective organization of the housing stock in the Khorezm region. The study used statistical analysis, economicevaluation and qualitative analysis methods. The results showed that the effective organization of the housing stock isassociated with meeting the housing needs of the population, saving financial resources and improving the quality ofconstruction. The article allows developing practical recommendations
