Abstract

This article discusses the “Treatise of Artists”, one of the most significant treatises on the crafts in the history of the Eastern people. It deals with the craft's beginnings, founders, management structure, craftsman rights and responsibilities, various customs and rituals, and folklore concerning the craft.
