COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LEVEL AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

Abstract

This study investigated the correlation between critical thinking levels and academic performance among physical education students specializing in combat sports (boxing) and team sports (volleyball). Factors determining athletes' academic achievements were identified: for boxing students, analytical abilities and self-confidence were key; for volleyball students, in addition to analytical skills, openness to innovation and the ability to comprehensively analyze situations proved crucial. Based on the findings, practical recommendations for developing critical thinking, considering the specifics of each sport, were developed. The research serves to optimize the educational process for student-athletes
