Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of the theoretical foundations and practicalmechanisms of fiscal stability and public debt management based on the cases of Italy, Japan, and Uzbekistan. The study evaluates long-term debt sustainability, fiscal-monetary interaction, and the role of institutional factorsin debt dynamics. The research employs FTPL, the Bohn Approach, Cointegration Analysis, Markov-SwitchingModels, BOP Analysis, and Threshold-SVAR models. The findings indicate that fiscal stability depends not onlyon debt levels but also on institutional quality, policy coordination, and debt structure.
