The article is devoted to the analysis of mass protests against the policy of collectivization that took place in Uzbekistan and throughout Central Asia in the 1930s, based on archival sources and scientific literature. The agrarian policy of the Soviet government, in particular, the forced unification of peasant farms into collective farms, the liquidation of traditional forms of management, the confiscation of private property, the increase in taxes and other mandatory payments, as well as the strengthening of Bolshevik administrative pressure, caused mass protests among the local population
