This article investigates the substantiation of the parameters of the working bodies of a combinedmachine designed to simultaneously perform ridge formation, placement of drip irrigation pipes, and plastic filmlaying in melon crop cultivation. During the research, the shortcomings of existing technologies and technicalmeans were analyzed, revealing high energy consumption, soil compaction, moisture loss, and a significantshare of manual labor. The advantages of the combined technology, including the reduction of technologicaloperations, conservation of water resources, increased crop productivity, and improved labor efficiency, werescientifically substantiated. The research results demonstrated that optimizing the geometric and technologicalparameters of the ridge-forming working bodies makes it possible to reduce draft resistance and ensure highqualityfilm laying.
