Eshbekov, Mukhriddin, Khudoyqulov, Zokir
Abstract
This article analyzes the technological aspects and statistical metrics of biogas generation and its practicalimplementation within Uzbekistan’s green energy framework. The study evaluates the substantial potential for recoveringenergy from agricultural and industrial organic waste under local conditions. Special emphasis is placed on assessingthe efficiency of advanced biogas upgrading systems, specifically Autogenerative High-Pressure Digestion (AHPD) andPressure Vacuum Swing Adsorption (PVSA). Furthermore, the role of biomethane in ensuring energy security, mitigatingenvironmental impacts, and enhancing economic efficiency is thoroughly examined. Based on the statistical assessmentand research findings, practical recommendations are proposed to accelerate the development of the sustainable biogassector in Uzbekistan.
