This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the essence, content, and organizational structure of academicactivity management in higher education institutions. It examines the concept of academic governance, its structuralelements, functional areas, and three-level organizational structure on a scientific basis. The article discusses theeducational, research, curriculum and methodological, and international cooperation dimensions of academic activity, thecycle of management functions, and the institutional composition of Uzbekistan’s higher education system.
