The tourism sector plays an important role in ensuring the effectiveness of regional economic growth drivers.Tourism has specific characteristics as a sector that can generate relatively high economic returns while contributing toemployment, poverty reduction, and the development of the cultural environment in regions. From this perspective, manycountries prioritize the use of financing mechanisms, along with other instruments, to support regional tourism development.This process has its own distinctive features, and its scientific analysis is therefore of considerable importance.Accordingly, this article examines the main aspects of government financial support for the tourism sector

regional economic development, potential, finance, financial relations, project, financial policy, government financial support, subsidization.
