TRAINING POLITICAL SCIENTISTS: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract
The article highlights the history of the formation of political science as a discipline and shows the contribution of Eastern thinkers to its development. It is noted that after the Second World War, a new stage began in the evolution of political science as an academic field. However, the former Soviet government did not recognize the development of this discipline and did not permit its teaching in higher educational institutions. Only after the achievement of independence was the teaching of political science established, and attention was given to the training of political scientists
