This article examines the issues of monitoring the dynamics of students' individual growth using formative assessment technology in the higher education system. The author analyzes the shortcomings of the traditional assessment system and substantiates the importance of feedback and a diagnostic approach in improving the quality of education. The article analyzes modern monitoring technologies that allow tracking students' personal achievements and their effectiveness in the educational process
