Аннотация
The article scientifically analyzes the processes of formation of youthpsychology in the context of globalization, their adaptation to the information environment, aswell as the role and importance of reading culture in personal education. In modern society, youngpeople are getting used to the rapid consumption of information under the influence of the Internet,social networks and digital technologies, which has a significant impact on their attention, depthof thinking, emotional stability and spiritual values. The article examines the peculiarities of youthpsychology, in particular emotional sensitivity, the desire for independent thinking and theprocesses of social identification. At the same time, the cognitive, emotional and educational functions of reading are substantiated. The article analyzes the role of fiction and scientific 377literature in expanding the horizons of young people, developing a sense of empathy andstrengthening moral values
