PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF APPEARANCE SATISFACTION IN WOMEN OF MATURE AGE

Аннотация

This article analyzes the psychological aspects of appearance satisfaction inwomen of mature age. The study examines the influence of psychological factors such as bodyimage, self-esteem, emotional stability, social comparison, and social support on the level ofappearance satisfaction based on scientific and theoretical sources. In addition, within theframework of objectification theory, women’s perception of themselves through the lens ofappearance and its impact on psychological well-being is considered. The results of the studyshow that in mature age, appearance satisfaction is directly associated with subjective well-beingand psychological health.
