Annotaciya

This article presents a methodology for assessing and developing the chemicalliteracy of future chemistry teachers based on PISA approaches. The study substantiates thenecessity of linking educational content with real-life situations in the process of teachingchemistry in higher education. In particular, the issues of forming students’ practical knowledgeand skills based on the chemical properties of substances widely used in everyday life, such aspesticides, mineral fertilizers, components of food products, soda, various salts, calcium oxide,and construction materials, are analyzed.
