This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations forimproving the information service system in the management of higher education institutions. Thestudy interprets the information service as an integrated management mechanism that coordinatesthe joint and effective activities of the subjects of the educational process. Based on the regulatoryand legal requirements established by the Decrees and Resolutions of the President of the Republicof Uzbekistan, the issues of institutional organization of the information service system in highereducation institutions, integration of specific management functions, and development ofpersonnel consulting are scientifically substantiated. In addition, the article highlights thepossibilities of increasing the transparency and efficiency of management processes through theuse of information and communication technologies. The research findings have practicalsignificance for modernizing management activities and improving the quality of education in thehigher education system
