This article examines agglutination and inflection as fundamental morphemic strategies for expressing grammatical meaning in languages of different typological structures. The study aims to identify the structural, semantic, and functional features of these morphological types based on the material of the Russian and Uzbek languages. The research employs a комплекс methodological approach, including comparative, structural-semantic, functional, and typological analysis. The findings demonstrate that agglutination is characterized by transparency and one-to-one correspondence between form and meaning, whereas inflection exhibits syncretism and a high degree of grammatical integration. It is shown that natural languages display mixed typological features, supporting the continuum nature of morphological typology.
