This article analyzes the life, creative legacy, and role in the Jadidismmovement of Abdulvohid Burhonov (Munzim), a Jadid intellectual, enlightened poet, and publicfigure who was active in the early 20th century in the territories of Bukhara and Turkestan. Thestudy sheds light on Munzim's poetic creativity, his educational and propaganda activities, hiscontributions to establishing the New Method schools, and his role in the Jadid literaryenvironment. Additionally, the similarities and differences in his work compared to major Jadidfigures like Sadriddin Ayniy and Abdurauf Fitrat are analyzed. The article reviews scholarlyresearch on Munzim’s activities conducted during the Soviet and post-Soviet periods, establishinghis place and historical significance in the Jadid literary movement. The research findings showthat Munzim’s work was an important link in the development of the enlightenment-propagandisttrend in Jadid literature.
