ANALYSIS OF THE INFORMATION ON THE KARAKHANIDS PROVIDED BY JAMAL AD-DIN AL-QARSHI

Abstract

This article examines the little-studied pages of the history of the Karakhanid dynasty, which ruled from 992 to 1211. This period has certainly been covered in the works of both local and foreign historians; however, not all of them were able to make use of the information contained in the work Mulhaqat biss-surakh by Abul-Fazl Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Khalid Jamal ad-Din al-Qarshi. This work was written at the beginning of the fourteenth century.
