Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical potential of using problem-based learning methods to develop divergent thinking in preschool children. The primary objective of the study was to determine the impact of a problem-based learning process on children's creativethinking, independent decision-making skills, and divergent thinking. The study included experimental and control groups, and lessons were conducted using problem-based learning methods. Analysis of the results showed that lessons using elements of problem-based learning significantly improved children's creative thinking. The study's findings allow for the development of practical recommendations for improving the educational process in preschool institutions and the effective use of problem-based learning methods to develop children's creative potential.
