Abstract

The article summarizes historiographical materials on the issues of musiceducation and musical art during the еars of independence of Uzbekistan. It analyzes scholarlyresearch works, dissertations, abstracts, and monographs published in this period and evaluatestheir contribution to the study of the development of musical culture. Special attention is paid tomethodological approaches, major research trends, and unresolved problems in thehistoriography of music education and musical art in the context of independence.
