THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE DESIRE FOR SUCCESS AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN STUDENTS

This article psychologically analyzes the correlation between students' drive forsuccess and their level of emotional intelligence. Skills such as emotional self-awareness, selfmanagement, social relationships, and empathy are highlighted as crucial factors in achievingsuccess. The study examines how internal motivation, emotional awareness and regulation, socialcompetence, and stress resilience influence academic success. The findings indicate that studentswith higher levels of emotional intelligence demonstrate stronger achievement motivation, betterself-understanding, clearer goal-setting, and more effective decision-making processes. Theresearch highlights the crucial role of emotional intelligence as a key factor in students’ personaldevelopment, motivational enhancement, and overall academic performance.
