Abstract. The article describes the psychological factors and mechanisms of the development of professional reflection in the person of a future pedagogue. In particular, the analysis of theoretical approaches and concepts of foreign scientists regarding the development of professional reflection in the person of the future pedagogue is presented. Also, the analysis of the types of professional reflection in the person of the pedagogue from the point of view of the position of the teacher and the student is noted
