Abstract

This article analyzes the structural and functional equivalence of hyperbolefrom a linguo-stylistic and translation studies perspective. In the course of the study, lexical,syntactic, emotive and comic aspects of the Hyperbola are studied, highlighting their expressivefeatures in different languages. Also, in the translation process of the Hyperbola, issues of drawingsemantic and pragmatic compatibility are considered. As a result, the importance of hyperbole asnot only a stylistic device, but also as a communicative-expressive unit, is justified
