SOCIO-ECONOMIC LIFE OF SHAHRISABZ DISTRICT IN THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE FROM 2005 TO 2025

Аннотация
Annotation. This article analyzes the socio-economic development processes of Shahrisabz district during the period 2005–2025. The study examines structural changes in the regional economy, employment, investment activity, as well as the development dynamics of agriculture, industry, and the service sector. The results show that an initially agrarian-oriented economy has gradually transformed into a diversified model. In particular, reforms implemented after 2017 contributed to a significant increase in investments and expansion of the service sector. In addition, the development of social infrastructure has improved the living standards of the population. At the same time, several challenges related to water resources and technological development have been identified.
