The prevalence of neuropathy of the facial nerve is 20-45 cases per 100,000 of the population aged 15-60 years, in equal proportions among men and women. In the scientific work, the analysis of psychoemotional states according to the clinical periods of the disease of the facial nerve neuropathy in the examined patients was carried out. We examined 163 (100%) patients, including 66 (40.5%) men, 97 (59.5%) women, whose average age was 43 ± 3.4 years. It has been proven that the existing psychoemotional problems and facial defect can worsen the clinical course of the disease, lengthen the recovery period and be the main reason for the formation of complications of NFN.
