PREPARING PRESCHOOL CHILDREN FOR LITERACY BASED ON INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL EXPERIENCE: THE CASE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Аннотация
This article provides a comparative analysis of foreign and national experiencesin preparing 5-7 year old children of preschool age for school education. In particular, weeklywork plans used in the preschool education system of the Republic of Korea and currentapproaches in the preschool education system of Uzbekistan were studied. The study highlightsthat the issue of preparing children for literacy in Uzbekistan has been raised to the level of statepolicy, and that as a result of the reforms implemented in the field of preschool education in recent 75years, modern pedagogical approaches aimed at ensuring children's readiness for school havebeen introduced. The content and methodological foundations of literacy training based on the"State Requirements for the Development of Children of Early and Preschool Age" and thenational curriculum “Ilk Qadam” are analyzed, and the effective aspects of integrating foreignexperiences into the national education system are substantiated
