The article analyzes the processes of post-war recovery of agriculture in theBukhara region during 1946–1950. Based on archival sources, the study examines the role ofMachine and Tractor Stations (MTS) in the technical support of agriculture, the problemsencountered in their operation, and the condition of the material and technical base of the sector.The research findings make it possible to assess the specific features of agricultural developmentin the Bukhara region during the post-war period and the processes of its modernization
