DEVELOPING CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN INSPIRED BY THE ANIMAL WORLD: A CASE OF BIONICS

Аннотация
Annotation. This article is devoted to studying the effectiveness of bionic pedagogical strategies in developing creative thinking skills of preschool children inspired by the animal world. The purpose of the research is to foster imagination, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities in children through activities based on bionics. The article analyzes scientific theories of bionics and biomimicry within the context of 21st-century skills and children’s interaction with nature. Within the framework of the study, storytelling, design, and construction activities, as well as practical exercises based on animals and their natural features, were organized for children. The results showed that activities developed through bionics help to enhance children’s creative thinking, collaboration, and ecological awareness. Moreover, storytelling and design activities arouse children’s curiosity and allow them to get closer to nature.
