MODERN ASPECTS OF THE ETIOLOGY, PATHOGENESIS, AND INDIVIDUALIZED THERAPY OF PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE

This article examines the modern aspects of the etiology, pathogenesis, and individualized therapy of peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum. The key internal and external risk factors for the development of the disease are highlighted, including the role of Helicobacter pylori infection, genetic predisposition, psycho-emotional stress, and immune system disorders. Particular attention is paid to modern approaches to diagnosis and the principles of differentiated and personalized treatment of peptic ulcer disease, including eradication therapy regimens, the use of gastroprotective agents, probiotics, and antioxidants. The latest advances in the prevention of disease recurrence and the restoration of the gastric and duodenal mucosa are also presented.
